This plunge line guide is intended to help knife makers grind symmetrical plunge lines.  The guide is made of unhardened mild steel and secures with 1/3-20 screws.  Tightening requires a 3/16" Allen key (not included).  The Equalizer is made to fit comfortably into the slots milled in the ProSet grinding jig but can also be used for freehand grinding.
